Mohair Socks
I always wanted to do something with this lovely lustrous fibre that my flock were producing and so decided to send off some fleeces off to Cornwall to be spun into yarn suitable for turning into socks.
The socks are manufactured in Leicestershire, so keeping this part of the process more local. When I receive the socks they are off-white in colour and I then hand-dye them here on the farm.
The Farm
The goats live on our 15 acres of grassland on our small-holding in Northamptonshire.
